Oh well…this is why I get a paycheck. And the stuff that I catastrophize in advance rarely turns out to be all that bad.

workout: weights only:
rotator cuff
pull ups (5 sets of 10)
front squats (sets of 6: 45, 65, 75)
inline bench: 10 x 135, 3 x 155
barbell clean and press: 8 x 95, 4 x 95, 8 x 90 (less rest than before)
dumbbell press: 10 x 45 standing
rows: 3 sets of 10 x 110 machine
plank 2:30
goblet squat: to the sill: 6 x 70
walk home
sumo dead: 6 x 143, 6 x 187, 3 x 209 (225 felt too heavy to start..don’t want to strain the inside of my legs)
Romanian dead: 6 x 187 (felt it toward the last few reps)

The university gym: packed…for 6 am. Start of the semester.

Nature Compassion for the weak and less able is really a value of affluent human society. We show it (and should) because we CAN. It really isn’t “natural”:
