Wet one

5.1 miles (Cornstalk loop plus a campus loop) in 1:10:54; it rained (light to moderate) throughout. I was ok; pain free (more and more these days).

I think that I’ve hit a happy medium.

I am sopping wet here and the shirt is oversize on me; I’ve trimmed down over the past 2-3 years. Still have 10-15 lb extra.

A wise man once said: nothing.

And so I won’t. But, well, I guess the mouth stays shut for now.

Speaking of mouth: sore throat is much better; did use 3 lozenges all day. No cough..able to eat an orange.

Workout notes: PT with pull ups: lots of sets of 5, (50 reps), with 3 more holds. Push ups mixed in: 2 sets of 20 slant, 6 sets of 10 flat.

Downstairs: bench (mixed in) 7, 7 10 with 134 (Swiss bar)

Deadlift: all 4 inch handle: 10 x 134, 10 x 184, 10 x 234, 10 x 265

Belt squats: 2 sets with 40 kg plus pin (96 lb)
Later: two 2-mile commuter walks to get just over 4.3 miles for the day.

Body seems to be responding well.
