Longest Post COVID walk (I think)

Ok it was only 13.6 miles (goofy Garmin gave 13.3, Strava correction was 14.0) but it was probably my best “post covid” longish walk; certainly my best “since the back flared up” walk. I do have to be more patient with traffic; made one dumb (but legal) decision while on Forest Hill Drive; it does me no good to “be in the right” but get run over.

The course: used Union Hill (thanks City of Peoria) to get to the riverfront, walked past the market; nice up to the exit of the trail in Peoria Heights then back down the old Boredom course until Columbia Terrace. Of course, they closed the sidewalk on the right side of Central/Monroe (thanks City of Peoria) so I had to watch that. There is little room for pedestrians there, not that this stupid city cares.

But the walk went well.
