Walked my “out and back to Cornstalk” 5 mile course in 1:13:30 (did a mini loop to get 5.13 in 1:15:12) and had just a tad of discomfort on the outside of the hip during the hills. It is also probably time to break in new shoes..will do so gradually.
The slow time was mostly due to my huffing and puffing up those hills; they were HARD for me today. Then again, blood donation was 6 days ago.
