Getting stronger?

My new seated bench is here and today I got to take it for a spin. Upshot: it gives better support than the folding chair and therefore allows for fuller extension of the arms. And later: the new set of 45’s and 2.5′ are here as well.

This is the Titan model; too cheap (about 130 dollars) for heavy duty use in, say, a health club or for a really strong person (say, a D1 football lineman would need something more expensive) but perfect for me..and frankly, at any time in my life. And it is much higher quality than my squat rack; not as high of quality as my spotter pins bench.

Today: still tired, I thought but:
pull ups: 3 sets of 10, then finished with sets of 5 and singles; enough for 50.

bench: somewhat stronger today; all done with pauses at the bottom:
10 x 132, 1 x 187, 2 x 176, 3 x 171, 5 x 165, 5 x 159, 5 x 156 (very tired but I did go 5 lb. heavier on the single and 1 extra rep with 165)

rows: 5 x 10 with 134 trap bar.

shoulder press: 9 x 89 (didn’t have a collar on one side), 8 x 90, 7 x 90 then 10 x 40 dumbbell (all on the above supported bench)

Push ups: 2 sets of 30 and 1 of 10 (best in a while), then headstand.

My body appears to be rounding a corner.
