Wet walk and a comeback game

10.6 miles (no goose loop) in 2:46; I did the Broadway part first. The sky let loose when I got to Dozer (2 miles away) and the water was at gutter level in some places. Still; I was 1:02 at 4 and it didn’t feel that hard (15:45 pace, even with the slow-down)

Later: Chiefs game.

How it went down: The Lumberkings were cruising 5-1 when the Chiefs brought in a reliever in the 8’th; he loaded the bases and allowed 2 runs. But in the bottom of the 8’th, the Lumberkings used their first relief pitcher. He walked bases loaded..and wild pitched in 3 runs and walked a 4’th. The second relief pitcher gave up a double and the Lumberkings made an error on a ground ball…so it is now 7-6!

But..the Chiefs next relief pitcher gives up 2 home runs (one with someone on base) so now it is 10-6, and the Chiefs hit 3 fly balls to end the game.

Oh well…tough season.
